Interactive Fiction

Beyond my professional roles, I also enjoy making my own narrative games and interactive fiction using programs like Twine and ink.

You can play Together Forever, a short interactive ghost story I wrote using Twine, here.

You can also check out You Know What You Did, a fun little game jam project I did to learn Inkle’s ink script, here.

Writing about games

I don’t just like writing games. I also like writing about them, such as in this very deep dive into Chinese indie games and Steam I wrote for Chaoyang Trap, which you can read here.

Going further back, I’m glad to say I got the chance to write for the legendary games publication Kill Screen when it was still active, penning an analysis of how videogames are changing the action movie. You can find that here.
